PEABODY, MASSACHUSETTS (www.northshore-bank.com) – The Reading Food Pantry believes no one should go hungry. If you need food, for a day, a week, a year, or more, they are always there to help. That’s why the employees of North Shore Bank chose this organization to receive their recent Jeans Day donation of $1,200.

The initiative, which allowed employees to wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a $5.00 charitable donation, garnered overwhelming support within the bank. The funds collected will make a significant impact on supporting the Reading Food Pantry's mission to provide essential resources to those in need within the community.

"We are proud of our employees' commitment to making a positive difference in the community," said Tom Seyffert, Branch Manager of North Shore Bank’s Reading office. "Their generosity and participation in the Jeans Day program exemplify our collective dedication to giving back and supporting local initiatives, and we’re so happy we’re able to help The Reading Food Pantry – a staple in our community."
We were thrilled to receive the Jeans Day donation from North Shore Bank. The past year was a busy one at the pantry and we so appreciate the support like this we receive from the Reading community—it allows us to make sure all our neighbors get enough food.
