Epilepsy Foundation New England – Jeans Day

At age 5, North Shore Bank Teller, Lori Desimone's daughter was diangosed with Epilepsy. Not knowing where to turn, she reached out to the Epilepsy Foundation New England for support. Meeting other parents who faced similar struggles proved to be extremely helpful.

Recommended by Desimone, North Shore Bank recently donated $1,400 to Epilepsy Foundation New England.  The proceeds were given by bank employees as part of the Bank's Jeans Day program.

The money raised will go to Epilepsy Foundation New England's overnight summer program, known as The Purple Camp. This weeklong camp gives children the chance to have fun in an enviornment designed especially to support the needs of children with epilepsy.
Thanks to this gift from the North Shore Bank employees, three children will be able to spend a week at our overnight camp this August. Many kids tell us that this is their favorite week of the year. The bank really made a difference.
