Coastal Capital Group, Inc. is Now TimeScale Financial

Three years ago, North Shore Bank formed a strategic partnership with Coastal Capital Group, Inc., a local financial planning and retirement plan advisory firm.  We chose to partner with Coastal because of its shared purpose to help as many people in our community establish a strong financial foundation and its ability to complement our world-class banking solutions.
 
Today, I’m writing to let you know that Coastal will be changing its name to TimeScale Financial.  Rest assured, this is the same great team and same ownership. We anticipate the name, website address and email address changes to go into effect by mid-May of this year.  So, if you’ve had the opportunity to meet with or work with any of the current team members, you can be confident that they will still be there.  Phone numbers will remain unchanged.
 
As you can imagine, launching a new brand and a new firm name is no small endeavor.  Jim Horrocks, Chief Executive Officer of Coastal Capital Group (and soon to be TimeScale Financial), has kept me apprised every step of the way.  He felt strongly about selecting a firm name that more closely aligns with the firm’s value proposition rather than a geographic setting.  When I asked Jim why he selected “TimeScale Financial,” he replied, "Our purpose is to help as many people as we can achieve, and enjoy financial independence.  We therefore wanted a name that reflected our unique way of collaborating with clients.  A timescale is the standard in which you want to look at time:  days, months, years, etc.  We believe each person’s plan to reach their financial goals should be personal to them, just like their timescale.”
 
We will provide you with additional details about TimeScale Financial’s new website address and email addresses in advance of their formal launch.  In the meantime, I wanted to inform you personally of the name change and reaffirm that it is only the firm name that is changing, not the team or ownership.
