Mark joined Coastal Capital Group, Inc., as a Relationship Coordinator in April of 2018. He became interested in personal financial planning after helping family members navigate the complexities of planning for their own retirement. The experience taught him how much he enjoyed helping people recognize the importance of planning in reaching future goals.
Prior to joining Coastal, Mark spent seven years at BNY Mellon working with non-profit institutions, universities, and high-net worth individuals. At BNY Mellon, he learned how to understand and address the financial needs that are most pertinent to clients, particularly families.
Mark received an M.B.A. from Northeastern University and graduated from Wheaton College with a B.S. in Economics. He enjoys reading on the beach and staying active through playing basketball, running and golfing.
Doug joined Coastal Capital in 2017 as a Relationship Manager to help people build a strong financial foundation in pursuit of their goals and dreams. He began his career working for Putnam Investments, holding various roles consulting with financial advisors on solutions to help their clients. He so enjoyed the work it inspired him to shift his career path and become a financial advisor himself. As a Relationship Manager at Coastal, Doug partners with families and individuals to help them achieve their goals and work toward financial independence.
Doug graduated from Boston College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. He is currently enrolled at Boston University pursuing his Certified Financial Planning Certification. Doug lives in Danvers with his wife, Kristin, and baby son. He’s grateful to serve the community where he grew up.
