Now through Saturday, August 6th, North Shore Bank will be assisting the Citizens Inn Back To School Drive by collecting new backpacks and school supplies to support local families in need. Items collected from this effort will be distributed to children and teenagers residing in the Citizens Inn Shelters.

Citizens Inn aims to break the patterns of instability that lead to homelessness and hunger for every individual served. Their programs equip clients with the tools necessary to unlock opportunities to live with financial independence by providing long-term, individualized solutions. Citizens Inn provides shelter and comprehensive support services to 35 families at a time in their shelters, Inn Between and Inn Transition, and providing nourishment to nearly 6,000 individuals annually through our pantry and community meals program, Haven from Hunger.

Items can be dropped off at any of the bank's three Peabody offices - 32 Main Street, 248 Andover Street (Rt 114), or 637 Lowell Street during normal business hours.
