Kevin M. Tierney, Sr., President and Chief Executive Officer of North Shore Bank, announced the hiring of Derek R. Devoe as a Vice President in their Commercial Lending Division. In his new role Devoe will be responsible for managing and growing North Shore Bank’s commercial loan portfolio while working with new and existing clients.
Michael D. Brown, Chief Lending Officer for North Shore Bank, said of Devoe’s hiring:

We’re pleased to be able to add Derek to our commercial lending team. He joins a group of experienced lenders, and will help us continue to meet the needs of our commercial customers by providing exceptional personal service and local decision-making.” He went on to say, “Derek’s knowledge of commercial credit and finance will be such a tremendous benefit to our business customers.
Devoe has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to joining North Shore Bank he served as a Vice President and held a Branch Manager position at several local banks. He attended Salem State University where he studied business and marketing, and graduated from the School of Commercial Lending.
He was previously a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell and participated on a number of committees for the organization.
