Volunteer Activities at North Shore Bank

Providing support to the community can come in many forms — not all of them financial. Donating our time and expertise to non-profit groups and organizations is something which we take very seriously at North Shore Bank. Our employees volunteer at many local non-profit agencies and serve on a multitude of area boards; routinely providing counsel in a variety of key operational areas.  It’s kind of funny, we like to think of ourselves as the first line of defense when it comes to community service.

See what we mean below . . .

Volunteer Activities

Salem Sound Coast watch

North Shore Bank employees were out in full force this year - volunteering their time to the Salem Sound Coastwatch workshop in recognition of Earth Day.  Our crew spent their time creating jelly fish out of plastic bags to show the harm discarded plastic bags can cause to marine life.

Citizens Inn

Each year the bank conducts a school supply drive for Citizens Inn in Peabody.  Proceeds from the drive benefit the homeless children and teenagers residing at and served by the organization. The drive features all North Shore Bank branches and resulted in multiple carloads of notebooks, backpacks and other miscellaneous supplies.

Community Events

Okay it’s no secret that we really enjoy being out in the community. Whether we’re working a water station at a charity road race or just handing out cool swag at a city-wide function, you can always count on North Shore Bank to “represent.” In fact, last year we were involved in events in more than ten different cities and towns across our area.
