The Open Door operates food pantries in Ipswich and Gloucester and serves as a community food resource center for low-income residents throughout the North Shore and Cape Ann. Geoff Leahy, VP and Commercial Lending Officer of NSB, who has volunteered at the pantry for many years, suggested The Open Door as January's Jeans Day recipient.
The Open Door connects people to good food, and this generous support from North Shore Bank will help get the job done. This donation will stock the coolers at our pantries in Gloucester and Ipswich with fresh milk and eggs putting food on the tables of individuals, families and seniors in our communities.
