Habitat for Humanity - Jeans Day

North Shore Bank jeans day contribution to North Shore Habitat for Humanity

When Alexander Gostanitan, a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst for North Shore Bank who also serves as Treasurer and Board of Director member of North Shore Habitat for Humanity, was first exposed to the organization during a service day with a previous employer, the work he did that day was something that he thought about often. So, when he joined North Shore Bank and learned about our monthly Jeans Day program, he knew that North Shore Habitat for Humanity was the perfect recipient.

In September 2018, North Shore Bank employees raised $1,137 to benefit the North Shore Habitat for Humanity, an organization whose mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Habitat-North Shore is deeply appreciative of the support North Shore Bank has provided over the years. This donation will go a long way towards paying for some of the skilled services we need to purchase for every home we build."
- Don Preston  |  Executive Director

Driven by a vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Habitat began in 1975 as a grassroots effort on a community farm in southern Georgia. Since then they have grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in nearly 1,400 communities throughout the U.S. and in nearly 70 countries.
