Abington Bank, a Division of North Shore Bank, Donates $40,000 for Fuel Assistance.
In time for this winter’s home heating season, Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, has donated $40,000 toward local fuel assistance programs. The donations were made to Self Help Inc. of Brockton and Quincy Community Action Programs, which will administer the funds for fuel assistance to qualifying families in Abington, Avon, Braintree, Brockton, Holbrook, Randolph, and Stoughton.
“We’re committed to supporting the communities we serve, especially during challenging times,” said Abington Bank, a division of North Shore Bank, President and COO Michael R. Wheeler. “Providing fuel assistance to local families in need is one way we can help ensure everyone stays safe and warm this winter. It’s about coming together to care for one another when it matters most.”
